To possess and maintain such firefighting and life-saving apparatus as may be deemed necessary to combat any fires or emergencies endangering life and property in Cranberry Township (Venango County); to train and instruct personnel in the proper use and care of all apparatus and equipment and to provide adequate housing for same. It shall also be our purpose to provide assistance to any neighboring firefighting, emergency service or law enforcement agency that may request our aid.
