I got my hair done for a wedding, a silk press and when I was done my hair smelled like it had burnt. Unfortunately, when wash day arrived my hair would not revert and had a perm smell to it. (*I have been natural for 7 years*) I will not be returning there anymore and I will be be cutting my burnt damaged ends. I really wanted to love this salon, but I feel like some stylists should work with their clients to reach their hair goals. Personalized care would be awesome. I definitely understand that they have more than one client, but it is important to make sure that each client's needs are met. I personally would like to grow my hair and I made it known. Sadly, I'm taking many steps backwards. Ask your clients what are their goals, issues that they currently have with their hair, etc. Teamwork with the client. I wish them good luck though. I know they can be better. I do not wish to bash the salon at all. This is constructive criticism and my own experience there.

I have been in Columbus for 4 years and have had a hard time finding a salon that I like...until I found Serenity. My experience with Serenity has been wonderful. The staff is professional and extremely friendly when you check in. The conversation and overall ambiance is positive. My stylist (Aubri) is very  knowledgeable about natural hair care. I am currently transitioning from relaxed to natural and she has given me very useful tips and product suggestions to help me manage the two textures. And I always leave feeling pleased with the health and style of my hair. I have definitely found my new “salon home” at Serenity.

If I could give this Place 0 stars I would... I was a new client today and scheduled my apt online for 1pm, I arrive at 12:50 for them to tell me my stylist is unavailable. If that was the case I should've been notified at the time of me scheduling my apt. I'm so disappointed.
