While I looked at some of the other reviews I felt compelled to write my own. First off I am a very, very, very satisfied customer. It's hard to find a great local family business that still operates with top tier service, sales and customer service. This is the only place I purchase my outdoor power tools. You can't get the same service or actual skill level at the big box stores. Another novel idea, they actually sell parts and provide service for the products they sell, unlike the big box stores. I am an echo brand purchaser and have purchased three (3) major pieces of outdoor power equipment from them. From the owner to the personal at the counter to the manager, Duane, well done my friends, well done...

In over 10 years of renting or getting repairs done I have always had great service on the phone and in store. Just in the last week I had a huge project for our community centre garden. We were enlarging it. I thought a weekend project with volunteers. Renting kabota tractor, cement mixer for weekend. We hit rock and needed to break it before continuing. Called monday morning 7 am and explained my situation and they recommended a chipper. It was delivered 3 hours later. That is what I call great service. I even called 2 times during the week to keep equipment and they accommadated. Being a non profit organization I need to stay on budget, their pricing was right in line with other places. thank you for your service , you made a hard project a little easier. Good on actual repairs but very bad on business ethics and customer service. Hold on to your wallets! Brought in something to get a repair estimate (which is not free). Instead of advising me of the estimate they decided to repair it without first getting my approval to do the work. When I called to find out the estimate they said it was actually repaired and ready to be picked up. When I got there they handed me an astronomically high repair bill that was 3-4X more than the value of the actual machine. My jaw dropped and even the person who handed me the bill seemed surprised and actually embarrassed by the amount of the bill. Tried to explain the obvious (that I never would have had it repaired at that price) but they insisted on being paid before handing over the machine. They had to know that it was well beyond economical repair. I felt like I was literally being robbed. Some staff working the phones are also simply rude.....

I have been dealing with Aylmer Repair for a number of years, bought a fair amount of equipment there and have rented many items and continue to do so. I highly rate them and have always had a good experience with their equipment and staff. They always have what I need. "" Support your local business"

It is the worse costumer service, people answer the phone like if they are at their home, they have a bad attitude and on top of everything they think they are making you a favour, I don't recommend this place to anybody!! I was going to spend at least a 1000 dls in parts but I rather give my money to someone who actually wants it.
