Welcome to the Sylmar Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Sabbath School program at 9:15 am, Sabbath School 10am and Divine Service 10:45am.
Welcome to the Sylmar Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
We are a small, Multicultural church in the northern-most section of Los Angeles, California. Our primary language is English, but we have some Spanish-only members, for whom we have a translator.
Our services are on Saturdays. We have a study period (Sabbath School) each Sabbath morning. The program starts at 9:15 AM and classes start at 10:00 AM. There are classes for: Adult, Youth/Young Adult, Junior, Primary, and Kindergarten/Cradle Roll. One adult class is in English and one is in Spanish.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
The seventh day (Saturday) is an extra-special part of the relationship. The Bible, from Genesis through Revelation, describes the seventh day as the one day God has set aside for focused fellowship with His people. God has named that day "Sabbath" and asked us to spend it with Him. "Remember the Sabbath day," He says, "to keep it holy." The Sabbath is a whole day in which to deepen our friendship with the Creator of the universe!
We believe that prophecy reveals Jesus is coming again very soon. (See Matthew 24:32-51.)

Our Mission
The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to call all people to become disciples of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the everlasting gospel embraced by the three angels’ messages (Revelation 14:6-12), and to prepare the world for Christ’s soon return.
Our Method
Guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit, Seventh-day Adventists pursue this mission through Christ-like living, communicating, discipling, teaching, healing, and serving.
Our Vision
In harmony with Bible revelation, Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness.
