Cute place. I got the truffle fries but I didn't notice anything different about them. They need to put more truffle oil to make it distinctly different than normal fries.

Ordered take out: 2 Chicken wraps, 1 Reuben openface sandwich. Wraps tasted like saw dust - they were that dry. I had a fruit cup and the pineapple still had rind and eyes on all 3 pieces. The Reuben was stuck to the bottom of the styrofoam container and stuck to the food. Pasta salad had no taste whatsoever. Work at car dealership where we spend lots of money on good food, but seriously, I would never order from Sewickley Cafe again. Very DISAPPOINTED. I had told my boss who had the Reuben your food was great! Was is the operative word here.

I always have to temper reviews of Sewickley restaurants with the realization that I would be sad if it weren't there anymore. It's an option. For a long time, I thought The Cafe was the best outdoor seating in Sewickley. Unfortunately, I was there in May of 2014 and the once fabled space was in a sad state. It's still a great choice, but newcomers to the outdoor scene like Vivo and The Hotel have pulled into the lead. The patio joins service and food at The Cafe as being about as nondescript as they could be while still being passable. I've got nothing bad to say, but I--honestly--don't have anything good to say, either. Which brings me to price. If The Cafe were the second place finisher in all categories with a second place price, I'd be OK. But it's no cheaper than better options. If you don's have any other place to go or you're so bored with your other choices in Sewickley--eh ... it's an option. But if you can keep thinkin', you'll come up with some other place that suits you better.

Great food and a beautiful outdoor space. Works well for a weekend brunch for a big group. Street parking is available.

Love the food, especially Tomato Dill Soup. Deserts are to die for. Eating in the back patio is great.
