The crew was on time, highly efficient and completed a job in 8 hours that I expected to take two days. They were polite and respectful of the fact they were working inside someone's home. Along the way they stayed clean and neat and made sure we were good with what was being done.

SFW was hired to repair dry rot behind some siding. The deconstruction and dry rot repair was done expertly in only one day, and the cost for that was very reasonable. However, the residing took way too long, and the costs escalated unbelievably fast. The final cost of the project was almost 6 times that of the tear-off and structural repair. If I had it to do over again I would get bids from others for the residing, then have SFW do the tear off and structural repair. I truly believe this would have saved about 50% of the cost of a very expensive project. Lesson learned.

I had dry-rot in the siding and windows in part of my house. SFW did a good job completing the project. They sent daily records of the work performed and the site was left clean at the end of each day. I would definitely use them again.

SFW had the unenviable task of taking my almost-new home and making it rot free and mold free, no thanks to the original builder who took shortcuts. Their crew was efficient, explained everything, and I now have a weather-tight home with a lovely new paint job. I am so glad that I used SFW and would recommend them to anyone who needs a quality professional.

I had a project that started relatively small but, out of necessity, increased in scope and cost over the course of the project. I had to ask for a lot of advice from SFW staff. With some contractors, I may have worried that costs were going up unnecessarily, but SFW staff were so professional and so good at teaching me what and why I needed things that even though costs went up, I always felt that I'd made the right decisions. A few months later, I still believe in those decisions. They made the project turn out better than it could've because of their willingness to give advice and collaborate with me on decision-making.
