I needed an appointment for my hair to be done before my baby shower and called to see if they could get me in 2 days, and I was told they could actually get me in the same day I called...whenever I wanted! I came about an hour later and they got started right away. Took only about 90 minutes for some crochets. Both women were extremely nice to me and talked with me the entire time, and even offered products for my dry natural hair. I thought the store looked fine, and I really enjoyed my experience. They were very fairly priced ($80 for the crochets), my hair looks beautiful and was braided properly and quickly, so I have no complaints. Will definitely go again for more styles.

Best by far hands down. She takes all your needs into consideration an definitely exceeds any expectations you originally had for her. I'm going to her on regular she is by far the best in IL!

She is truly a woman of professionalism. Efficient in time, her hands speak greatly of her talent, the quality of her work exceeds her passion for braiding. She has an amazing eye for detail. I've been getting my hair braided by Sister for a long time.. and finally got back in contact with her and I'm so happy I did.. As of right now I'm getting box braids done excited😀.. Next my girls are getting box braids too... Her work is beautiful and I will always come to her.. She very polite and he warming I enjoy her and her braiding team!! Give her a call!!!💖

My original hairstylist flaked on me.. I needed a set of sengalese twists for my birthday. I was in a panic and looked online for good braiding shops. This place had glowing reviews so i gave them a call and sure enough she said she could see me in a half hour. Perfect. Fast forward and now I'm in the shop. She seems friendly and tells me the price is $180 but she'll give me the deal of $160. i was hesitant but agreed. Two braiders worked on my head. I'm not used to the african braiding so it was a bit uncomfortable.. no lets be honest, it HURT. But I'm not a wuss so i sucked it up. Beauty is pain right? So anyways I sat in the chair for 4.5 hours and I LOVE my hair, its gorgeous.... So why the 2 stars you ask?  Well perhaps I forgot to mention that the shop was dirty (garbage on the floor, braiders without shoes or socks on), both braiders spent almost the ENTIRE time speaking another language on the phones, and one of them had a baby with her that she had to tend too and feed and change fairly often. Which prolonged the process. I told her I had to  be done by 3 for work and I barely made it in time. The braiders are very talented and theres no taking away from  that, but there is a serious lack of professionalism at least from the two workers I encountered. After this salon visit, I have a horrendous headache and I don't think it's just from my twists being tight.. I hope they can step it up because there's real potential and talent here.
