Shades is an upscale salon for women looking for quality and creative touch from a skilled professional. Salon is clean , nice waiting area, and centrally located in Middletown with ample parking. 
Book in advance always busy because they're so good. !can do any type of hair. This is a full service salon. Awesome place.

I  have been going to Shades for years and have always had a positive experience. I've been to salons that were very impersonal but this is not the case here, everyone is warm from the time you walk in the door. The services offered are second to none in this area and the stylists deal with all hair types, women from all nationalities have their hair done here. I have  had everything from weaves  
and cuts, relaxers and color, i'm always satisfied and am always complimented on my hair, I have referred many to the salon who now go on a regular basis. Another thing I  love about this salon is that they care about the health of your hair and if you are transitioning from relaxers to natural hair, this is the place for you. I love coming here because of the relaxing atmosphere, this a salon not a shop and is drama free and professional.

This is the greatest hair salon ever!!! Color, cut and style is always amazing AND the hair wash is like getting a massage!!! Great energy all throughout the salon. I travel over an hour to get there😇
