Its a very simple park with a pavilion and some picnic tables but it's a nice little green space tucked in the old Pepperell Mill Village. The park doesn't have many visitors due to the lack of things to do....A playground would be fantastic!! However, in the recent past, the city has cleaned it up a bit so it's still Shady Park, but no longer 'a shady park.'

Nice place to visit and eat  lunch if you're a local make sure to bring extra for the squirrels

Nice basic park- when the grass is cut, which is only every 2-3 weeks.  No childrens playground, but a pavillion for picnics and couple of swings are available.  Lots of running room.

It's a nice quiet place for walks or just sitting in a swing and reading but nothing there for children even though alot of people do have birthday parties under the gazebo
