I was coming from the paramount theatre and realized that shake shack was on this corner. I first tried shake shack in London and fell in love with the mushroom burger. I’ve talked about how mouthwatering that burger was for years and when I learned that there were locations opened in the Bay Area I was excited.  This location is opened ‘till 10pm so we walked in and ordered from the self check out. Service was quick and when the food came out I was anticipating mouthwatering flavors, how I remembered it, but it wasn’t the case. It was okay. I hyped it up more than what it was and that was disheartening.  At least now I can say I tried it in the east bay.  I’ll come back again if it’s along the way, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.  I ordered the mushroom burger and cheese fries. They were good, just not memorable.

Energetic and competent employees work here . On the  flip side, you pay two times of Mc Donald and get a more greasy Mc Donald that they have given a fancy name!  In my opinion you pay only for fancy decoration and  fancy app.  Good to try once in a lifetime

Whether you're a burger aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal, this place won't disappoint. It's a definite must-try for anyone in search of a memorable dining experience.

This is my first time at Shake Shack.  I agree with the online consensus: not worth it.  The burger is good, but very small for the price. I'd be willing to pay $2 more for a bigger burger. As it is, I can either get a burger, not much worse in quality and a bigger size, for much cheaper. Or, I can get a much bigger and better gourmet by paying a little extra at a local restaurant.  Shake Shack is neither here nor there. It's not a golden middle.  The shake was mid. Like, for real. I expect much higher quality for this price.  Service is really slow.  Interior decor is boring corporate.  Overall: mid. It's worth trying if you've never been, but as a burger connoisseur, there are way better options.

I know its shake shack, but I've been here 10+ times and it's always on point. Clean, food is great as expected, and sometimes we get free custard. Just look at this burger - its picture perfect. Man obviously blessed it. As shakes shack go it's top tierFood: 5/5

The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. I appreciate being greeted with a warm smile. Furthermore, I personally prefer Shake Shack over In-N-Out. The fries at Shake Shack are significantly better and have a delightful crispiness.Food: 5/5

Visited the location right as they opened. The place was spotless and clean. We used the self order kiosks, very user friendly. The service was quick and the food quality did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was warm and flavorful. There is street parking available but we ended up parking a block down the street at a parking garage.  Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian burgers on their menu.  Kid-friendliness: There are kids meal options and high chairs if needed.  Wheelchair accessibility: They have a elevator for wheelchairs

Solid burger, but its price is 50/50. The back of my bun looked like it was ripped a little bit which I don’t mind. All around good burger. Would recommend if you want something simple, but iconic.Food: 4/5

Love coming here, good prices and the food really fills you up. I don't have any pictures but I recommend getting the chicken nuggets, so flavorful and amazing. Their BBQ sauce is great as well.
