This municipality will look for any excuse to ticket someone and their ticket fines appear to be the highest in Northeast Ohio. Add to that the inefficiency of getting waiverable tickets into the online system--I could not even pay online because my ticket was never entered. Called twice and no record of ticket--I had to give them a copy of my ticket when I showed up to court! I'm an hourly employee, so I not only had to pay my ticket, but lost wages for the day. Perhaps take an alternative route rather than driving through Shaker.

Had to pay a ticket and at 3pm there was only one window open and a line of ten people. I was fourth in line and waited for 20 minutes. I had leave to get to work. Even for a government run operation the complete lack of sense of urgency and organization was astonishing. While those of us waiting had broken the law we are still citizens and deserve to be treated with common decency. Very disappointing. I never had to wait that long to pay a ticket at the Cleveland Heights court.

Shaker Heights Court is racist and with no remorse. They only fill there courts and jail cells up with black people. I was kidnapped by Shaker and held hostage in there jail cell for over 13 days. They are not organized at all as far as how there courts operate. Everyone from the Judge down to the detectives are just Thugs; Thugs with badges and guns and gavels.

Confused shocked expressions on all the faces behind the counter when I questioned their system of charging$100+ to see a judge to fight a parking ticket (*regardless* of outcome, innocence/guilt); however, simply paying said ticket was only $25 (if you just plead guilty). I wanted to speak to a judge, because i had a valis reason why the paring ticket should be wqived this one time. But since the outcome doesnt matter (you have to pay $100+ either way), I could not *afford* to seek justice. And where are these signs that explain to newbies in town about the snow plow 2-8am thing?? Show me one within a block of 2041 Westmorland...I took pictures. I searched for one. Any sign... nope.

Fines are too expensive and bonds are not applied to the fines.
