Rooms weren't bad, some of the TV's didn't work. Quite a few scorpions and rattlesnakes outside.

Very nice, simple but clean rooms and nice bathrooms, great beds, and a great price, I highly recommend! !

Shale is great. Rooms are super clean, good showers, and comfy beds. Outdoor water, ice, vending, and outdoor power for boat charging make it the perfect fisherman's stay for the weekend at $60 for a double room.

Great place to stay!! The establishment's personnel were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious, very modern. I stayed three weeks, the meals were great, too. I recommend the Shale Lodge in Three Rivers and will stay there if ever in the area again.

The rooms are decent but I would recommend bringing a broom so you can clean your floors as it's usually a week in between cleanings instead of the 3 days like they say. Don't ask too much of the woman behind the counter, she doesn't like any thing slightly extra. Looks at you like your crazy when you ask her to do the smallest things.
