This is a lovely store and the owner and her staff are incredibly kind and helpful.  Not pushy at all, but asked me questions and directed me to different items I might find interesting.  I found a beautiful ring that I wear all the time now and I decided to get a pair of earrings to accent it as well.  I didn't spend all that much money but the owner made me feel like I'd spent thousands and insisted on a giving me a hug before I left.  Genuinely nice people!

I wandered into this shop in search of a turquoise ring, an item I had been looking for for many years. I walked in and was overwhelmed with beauty. The shop is wonderful and the staff are very friendly. I was able to look around and try on as many pieces as I wanted. Debbie was a great help to me and helped me find not one but two perfect turquoise rings! I was overjoyed. Visiting Shankar Arts will be a must every time I'm in Deadwood. Highly recommend for the wonderful high quality pieces and great staff!
