I've been patiently waiting for this location to open in La Mesa. The South Park location is a bit of a drive for me. I showed up during the soft opening and the food is just as delicious as their food truck. The service was excellent as well. I ordered the Cali shawarma wrap, it had fresh ingredients and was very tasty. I also had the beef egg rolls which were amazing. The restaurant is very modern and elegant. I highly recommend this place. Very happy you guys are in east county.

We have driven by their food truck near Grape St. but never stopped. Decided today to try the new location in La Mesa. We both had the Greek Shawarma Chicken. It was outstanding! The wrap was crisp and the chicken was well seasoned and moist. Lots of toppings. The owner gave us a couple of 'egg rolls' for free. Not Asian in flavor, but Wow. Tasty with a great gralic sauce. We'll be back.

My wife and I decided to try this place out for our daughter’s birthday party. Brandon was incredible! He gave us a great deal and the day I picked up the food he personally walked me through our Order to ensure that everything was exactly what we needed. All our guests loved the food and definitely wanted the address for this place.Food: 5/5
My husband and I went during their first weekend opening, definitely kinks that need to be worked out. We placed our order and two other people placed their orders right after that. 40 minutes later, still no order, the owner had to ask the girls working at the counter about all of our orders since we were waiting awhile. It turned out all 3 orders were ready, and they hadn't been calling out all the names for orders. Sadly, our orders were cold and soggy, they still tasted fine. We will likely try again after some time has passed allowing staff to get a feel and flow for a busy restaurant.
We came here because they offered gluten free and dairy free options and we were very impressed! Only one of the two of us has the restrictions We both ordered swarma plates, one with beef and one with the beef and chicken combo. The beef was AMAZING! The chicken was great, too, but the beef stole the show. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were able to customize our sides. The rice was cooked great, the Iraqi salad and hummus were really good. The jalapeño humus was addictive. Great flavor, small amount of spice. The beef egg rolls were my favorite item on the menu. The shells were fried perfectly and that beef swarma was again just phenomenal. To make everything even better, a drizzle of garlic sauce was placed over everything. Simple and delicious. For dessert, we shared a strawberry sorbet dairy free!!! Which was also amazing. The food quality and the amount per serving were definitely worth the price. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere ensured that we would be returning customers!
The excitement I felt to know my favorite food truck opened a shop in my neighborhood was undeniable. Today I tried the Waygu Shawarma Cheesesteak with all the fixings. Omg it was delisouse and I didn't know it was something I needed in my life. ‍ Welcome to La Mesa and get ready to know my name everytime I walk in the door.
