Great taste and good quality food. We got the kofta kebab plate and chicken kebab sandwich. It was delicious and really great taste especially the sauce and the salad sides and pickles. Sandwich is good for the price but we didn't think the plate is worth for that price. Wish the plate had more kebab meat instead lot of rice and sides. Wasn't a fan of meat pie, expected something like pastries but was like a pita bread with meat spread. Overall great place and quality food, worth a try.
We decided to eat here after a couple of people recommended the place to us. The service was fast and the portion sizes good, but the beef and lamb shoarma was the worst I’ve had in my life. The meat on the spit looked juicy and good, but the meat that we were served was extremely dry and stiff and must have been from a few days ago and reheated multiple times. It was awful. I will never go back to this place. Save your money.
Microwaved falafel -- no thanks! It takes minutes to deep fry them instead of reheating them. As a result, the falafel tasted oily and the consistency was pretty bad. The beef in the shawarma tasted like boiled beef. No seasoning. No flavor. For a place claiming to be best in Boston for 30+ years, they're not living up to their claim.
When you step over the threshold you are in Lebanon. The food is delicious and the ingredients fresh. The sauce has just the right spiciness. I recommend shawarma with chicken. Mashallah.
The staff here are friendly and the service is fast. There's seating outside if you wanted to dine at location. I ordered the shawarma combo plate and was disappointed with the meal. The chicken was very dry and wasn't cooked on a spit looked baked. The beef was better but not by much. I had to douse in sauce to avoid the dry meal.
The customer service was awesome. Told them it was my first time there. Ended up going with a chicken shawarma plate. I usually get the same at Garlic and Lemons. I should have said no burnt pieces of chicken, because who likes burnt chicken? Big mistake. When I got home I noticed 2 edible pieces of chicken and the rest burnt. Do they always serve burnt chicken to new customers? I won't be back. Garlic and Lemons in Brighton is way better and for $16 dollars for a Chicken shawarma plate, I felt ripped off.
The city should shutt down this place dry chicken dry steak maybe the food been sitting their for couple days Easley , don't waste ur time and money super bad experience
Best experience, Shawarma was legit and everything was Halal there
Ordere from here and didnt receive my complete order. The chicken shawarma was ok, chiken so dry and weird lemon taste in it.french fries portio good but not homemad. Overall okFood: 3/5
I've had many types of shawarmas in different restaurants, countries, and continents... This restaurant's shawarma certainly stood out as one of the driest! The chicken shawarma in the platter was inedible.. Too dry, no taste. It is unfortunate because I had such high hopes..... The visit was 7 months ago
