Serving up fresh, authentic Middle Eastern cuisine to the City of Salt Lake -- we can’t wait to treat you to a meal soon.

Story

Shawarma King was born out of a rich culture full of lively traditions and delicious food. We wanted to share that joy, along with all our favorite Greek and Middle Eastern dishes, with the folks in our community. After traveling the world to expand our palates, we made our way back home to start serving those authentic flavors to the City of Salt Lake. Our meals are made with farm-to-table ingredients, and we don’t fire up the burners until you place your order. You deserve nothing less than the best, and we’re here to provide exactly that, with a side of good times!

Unfortunate experience at this restaurant. While this was my second time returning to this restaurant with my parents, both my parents were not too hungry and chose to order light. We therefore asked for two dishes. However, in addition to those two items we were charged a "tip." The menu does not list ANY number of minimum persons required for an automatic gratuity charge. Nor is there a minimum dollar amount listed, upon which, no gratuity will be charged. Adding to my suspicions -- after some digging, I found the receipt from our first visit, and shockingly that did not include any "automatic tip." Convenient way to make money, I guess--which is disgusting. Unprofessional treatment of customers. Avoid this place if you can.

This is the best and only place for good Shawarma in the city. Excellent food, great prices, and family owned and operated. Very good people living the American dream. Can't recommend it highly enough.

as a Syrian-American, I can vouch for how authentic & fresh the Mediterranean food is. the flavors were amazing and on point, & the place felt very clean. do know though that it is a family-run restaurant, so the atmosphere is more relaxed than it is professional. however, the service was fast and friendly, highly recommend!

If you want excellent middle eastern food this is the place to go. Excellent falafel, shawarma & rice. I had such a hard time deciding, we are going to have to keep going back to try more menu items.

Slowest service ever. Good food but don't think I'll come back. Ordered take out. I was told ten minutes for my order. I was literally the only person there and it took 40 minutes to get my food!
