Had the shoarma plate here, decent value for money. Fairly authentic taste, though there are better options in town for the price point. Very friendly staff. I will likely return.

Tasty little place! Loved the beef and chicken shawarmas! Enjoyed the humus as well, and the friendly service! Will definitely be back when in town from Arkansas.

My husband and I are self proclaimed 'foodies' (gastro-tourists, for the purists out there) and are always on the look out for the unique, new tastes and old favorites. For us, Shawkat's was a pleasant surprise!  The food was brilliant!  Chicken and lamb shawarma, classic gyros, authentic breads and the smell of their brick oven alone will have you hungry before you ever get to the counter to order.  The restaurant is comfortable and friendly.  Bonus:  my children love it too.
Great.  We will be back!

You need to eat here! It is a hole in the wall that makes delicious food. Shawarma, kafta, tawook, it's all fantastic. Nice folks too.
