Story

Downtown Radford has been graced by the presence of Shear Mellegance Salon, a place where we sell more than a new look, we sell a feeling. Located at 1147 East Main Street, we are beside the future site of Crumb & Get It Cookie Company and across from Nagoya Sushi. Shear Mellegance Salon will offer a plethora of hair services for all types of hair, waxing, and many nail and pedicure services. The owner is Sharmelle Turner-Bobo, a talented stylist and Radford native who has worked in the New River Valley for twenty years. She graduated from Shamar Academy and went on to be a strong asset at multiple local salons, but she has decided it is time to share her vision by opening a hub for cosmetology creativeness. When you walk into Shear Mellegance Salon you will not only feel like part of the family, but you will feel the innovative energy being emitted from every corner of the room. Our mission is to ensure that every customer walks out of the doors feeling like they could walk onto a fashion magazine, or so relaxed they swear they just left a full service spa.
