I am a Dental assistant for over 15 years. Many people may recognize my name or will say they know me personally. I have worked with many doctors over my years of assisting. I had just been on my 4th interview in the past week. I am currently employed and was looking for a Clinic with love for the community. Many dental clinics say that their patients come first, but, as we all know, that isn't always true. I went into Dr. Shelby's office not sure what to expect. I used to work with Dr. Shelby's youngest son Dan many years ago. Dan is also a wonderful guy. I instantly fell in love with the entire staff! It is true. When your looking for a dentist you really need to sit back and watch how the staff works together and how the communicate with each other. Watch their facial expressions too. I personally am not big on dentists who are sharp with their words and act like you the patient are their to give the doctor all your money. How many times have you called a Dental Clinic and the person on the phone was sharp with the tone of their voice, impatient with being on the phone or just seemed to be irritated with even being at work altogether? Let me tell you what you may not see, most staff hate their jobs and are just their to get paid. The eagerness of the staff at Shelby Dental to help their patients was impressive and the environment was warm and uplifting. Take it from someone who was born and raised in Missoula County, this is a compassionate Dental Clinic that loves their patients. I do hope that this review helps you in choosing your next dental clinic. Missoula does have many wonderful dentist. And Shelby Dental Clinic is one of the best! If anyone would like to ask me questions on dentists and their clinics, I am here to help you choose the right Dental Clinic. Take care Missoula and smile with pride! Their are good people at Shelby Dental.
