What a find! Not being from the area, I wanted a beautiful seafood restaurant on the water for my husbands Saturday birthday lunch. Shell & Bones was the perfect place! Every seat has a view of the ocean - it's clean and beautifully decorated. Our waiter Adam did a great job - so friendly, super efficient and knowledgeable about the cocktails and menu. We started off with two great cocktails - Abbey Road and Apiary. The clams casino was done well, who doesn't love a little bacon! His Cod Chowder was anything but just a chowder. It was a large piece of Cod surrounded by Clams, bacon, potatoes, corn, leeks, light cream broth. My Moroccan Shrimp was a special and it was just that. It was 3 jumbo shrimp on a bed of arugula, radishes, olives, toasted almonds, blood oranges, in a lite vinaigrette with dollops of a red pepper type hummus all sitting on a pesto type sauce. I told Adam it should be on the regular menu. Both dishes were so beautifully plated - it was impressive. The weekend brunch menu is great. There is so much to choose from - it was hard to decide. So, we definitely will be back when back in town. I imagine the outside deck is very popular in warm months. Don't forget to make a reservation as I'm sure this restaurant is always booked.

I enjoyed the relaxed pace of Shell and Bones in the winter season a few weeks ago. For appetizers, I had the Shrimp Cocktail and Oysters Rockefeller. They were both out of this world! For the main course I had the delicious Cod bathing in their signature Clam Chowder base. Unbelievable! This is my second visit to Shell and Bones and when you visit you will see every meal is a master piece and the presentation is first class.The location is awesome and has an incredible view of the harbor. I did not have room for desert, so I will definitely be back! I bought a gift certificate on the way out to give to a friend and will be back again soon!

Came in with high expectations, but overall I didn't feel like they were met. A gorgeous setting, right on the water with a nautical but modern theme. Food overall was good, though overpriced. The dish full of various types of seafood had so much potential, but not every piece of the meal delivered. Chewy clams? Always takes you out of the moment and ruins the flow of chewing. Overall it was good, but not particularly impressed.

Flavorful food and fantastic drinks. Wasn't a big fan of my meal. It was a bit bland. It was the fish special. My husband's steak was phenomenal though. Tuna tartar was so good also. Would go again and give it a second try.

This is a fine dining experience that take a your palate on a journey full of flavors and textures mixed with a visually masterful array of colors, while seducing your sense of smell with aroma. The atmosphere is relaxing and the waitstaff friendly, efficient and attentive. This was my first visit to Shell and Bones although, I used to love it when it was The Chart House many years ago. I intend to be a regulAr customer at this establishment.
