This Shell gas station is an okay gas station. It has very old gas pumps. They need a serious upgrade to the 21st century. Bathrooms were very stinky and dirty. Inside the store is small and stuff is crammed in there. Not much variety to choose from either. Stopped by here to gas up on the drive to California. There was only one clerk working and he was quite slow to get the line moving. He stood there chatting with a guy who was already done with his purchase. The line was of eight people behind me but that did not bother the clerk. Dissapointed that being a Shell, this was in such a bad shape.

I love this historic little stop. Since it's historic, it could use a little work. They are definitely a reliable beacon on I-40. They were booming back when it was just good ole Route 66. I love these folks! (Five stars if the snacks were hotter and the drinks were colder.) =]
