Story

’m Tony Begley and I am proud to have lived in Bradenton, Florida for most of my life. As a teen, I worked for my father at what was known as Al Smith Shell (now Begley’s Manatee), while I attended Manatee High School.


Back then I never imagined I’d follow in my father’s footsteps. Today, I’m the owner of five gas & retail stations, three of which include full-service automotive repair centers. We’ve built a diverse business that allows us to meet the needs of each and every customer, new and long-standing.

I am committed to the small things in this business and the big things in our community. We strive to support local charities, including Youth Little League and High School athletes, and we appreciate those of you who have helped us through the years making that happen.

Locally owned and run businesses help keep small communities thriving. We’ve been here through the gas shortages of the ’70’s and most recently, the soaring fuel prices. You can count on the Begley family of Auto Repair Stations to be a part of our Bradenton community for many years to come.
