Story

Tanglewood Autowash is a full service carwash, convenience store and gas station. We offer everything from a quick exterior wash to Full Detail services. We even have headlight restoration for those scratched and cloudy headlights.
Tanglewood Autowash has been serving the community here in Roanoke for over 20 years. This is more than just a business to us though; this is a very special place. Here customers are treated as friends, and the employees are not just co-workers, but a family (sometimes dysfunctional, but always there for each other!) This is a place that teens come to work for the first time. They learn not just how to function in the real world, but they also learn responsibility, professionalism, and self-reliance. We take great pride in all of the kids that have gotten their start here. Many have gone on to be professional football players, EMTs, police officers, soldiers, and business owners.
We are not just proud of our employees though, we are also proud of our customers! If you come in often enough, you will be greeted by name and asked about your family. We have formed real, long lasting friendships with many of our customers; quite a few of who have been customers since the first day we opened!
Tanglewood Autowash is also a friend to our environment. We recycle 90% of our water, and use environmentally friendly products. We strongly believe in giving the most value for your money.
