Shepard State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is located off U.S. Highway 90 on the south side of Gautier. The city has had responsibility for the park's management since 2013.Activities and amenitiesThe park features boating and fishing on the Singing River, 30 primitive sites for tent camping, 28 developed campsites, group tent camping, of nature trails, playing fields, picnic area, playground, and an 18-hole disc golf course, Alligator Alley.

Great park even though it is pretty small. Facilities are okay in terms of bath houses needing a little love. There is no interpretive center and really no interpretive exhibits to speak of. Someone in the administration invested heavily in an archery range and a nice disc golf course. There are primitive campgrounds with no bathroom facilities and an RV campgrounds that does have some facilities. There is also a small boat ramp appropriate for

Really great choice for the family. We only hiked around on this trip, but it is a great camp site also. Stores are nearby if necessary. It has gorgeous water views, but no swimming. If you like frisbee golf or archery, there are great set ups for both.

peaceful and room to move.. neighbors are 50 / 100 yards away.. and not expensive.. best one we liked so far.. (out of 10 other camp sites..)

The location of this campground is great. It allows for exploring the coast from Biloxi to Pascagoula. Beaches, Ohr Art Museum, Gulf Islands Visitor Center, Casinos.... The campsites are private, wooded and well spaced. Would be nice to have fire pits cleaned out prior to guest arrival. The bathrooms were reasonably clean, showers were very warm, could use some updating. Great value at $13 per night for seniors. Friendly and efficient check in! So helpful with information about the area. Joy is an asset to this park! We will be back.

Love it! My dogs love running the trails! They also seem to have a great disc golf course there and archery target practice spots
