My granddaughter had two separate experiences. The first time she was around 1 1/2 years old. They told my daughter that she just had a cold. She was so bad that later in the day she saw her regular doctor who discovered that she had pneumonia. So she had to go back to the hospital and be admitted for a week. It was pretty scary. Missing something like that in a small child could be fatal. The second time she was 3 years old. She ran out in front of her sister swinging at the playground and was knocked over. They took her in to the hospital screaming. The ER sent them home and said she would be fine when she calmed down. The next day my daughter took her to her regular doctor because she still wouldn't stop crying, wouldn't move or her own and screamed if anyone tried to move her. Her doctor found out she had a broken collarbone. All of my experiences (several surgeries) have been awesome. The surgical nurses are very attentive and caring. The person who gives you anesthesia comes out to talk to you so you know what to expect along with the doctor. So, I don't know if they just have trouble diagnosing small children. Maybe they think mothers bring their kids and for everything thing and they don't check into it enough. This is just my opinion.

Stopped at Urgent Care here on vacation. Quick, efficient care with nice personnel!

Rude staff. Dirty operating room. I did clinical rounds here as a nursing student. I watched floor nurses gossip about patients personal issues that had no place in nursing clinicals other than showing what not to do! One nurse at the start of shift went through the entire roster of patients even the ones she wasnt caring for and talked about them all with other nurses. Nothing to do with patient care just gossip. Talked about what a waste of resources certain patients were and how many times they had been through the emergency department and how many meals they ate and how that was a waste of tax dollars. Community hospital? Go somewhere else if its an option. From a patient to being a student here this place is an unprofessional joke.

Extremely. Bad experience ill drive or fly to a different hospital. The nurse is in the ER I believe her name is Amy. She is sooooo rude there are a few in the ER who are rude I just now called to ask,if my situation after surgery was normal and she bit my head off and told me that is only a question for my physician, wow!!!!!! I believe we all deserve health care regardless of age, sex, religion, politics, wealth, fame, looks, maybe Amy needs some common sense she may be book smart but she definitely isn't a nice person. God Bless

SMH added a false and derogatory statement from an unknown source and without proof to my medical record. Curtailing my care based on the statement. Unethical, illegal. They also shared this false statement with other associates and unassociated physicians without my concent or knowledge. It's a good thing I have friends in the hospital business. I recommend urgent care, otherwise, make an appointment elsewhere for privacy's sake.
