The deputies are wonderful , however , I'm praying the new sheriff will consider that these men and women that are employed by the sheriffs dept. have families . They don't seem to care at all . They are destroying families with all the mandated hours . My son is forced to leave his family , when he isn't even scheduled to work , during a mandatory evacuation. Why ? They look so forward to his day off for family time , then he gets mandated . This job will destroy their family . Most are looking for other career choices because of how it's run . Hopefully, there's a new sheriff in town .
