Teachers and staff are ghetto, no respect had us waiting in the office for at least 45 minuets before they helped us enroll our child last year. The teacher assigned to my kid was rude, flighty, and acted like taking in an out of state child 2 months in the school year was a burden. she would never assign homework folders on a consistent baisis, they tell us they give the folders out on Monday and all work must be done by Friday. We have gotten folders on Wednesday, and even on Thursdays. When my kids had issues in class teacher would never talk about it, so we could come up with a joint solution. It was just "the kids cried all day today".... Bad enough we had to relocate now she has to deal with disgruntled teachers?!?. The last straw was when I was told that my kid wondered off at lunch and was found outside...EXACTLY how does this occur, with all of the teachers involved how does a child go missing from your class?!?!?. This School needs to get it together before they end up on the news for child neglect. I'm not about to put my baby in jeopardy because you guys are disorganized, want my advice?? Take the extra time out of your morning and drive elsewhere...You want to see your child grow, not have to panic and leave work because they go missing....

I have never dealt with more ignorance among adults in my life than I have with the staff at this school. My stepson was punched in his nose, which bled everywhere, and is now, well... fractured... Here's the kicker parents... Nothing is being done to the child that punched him. Nothing. They will suspend them both , or let the whole thing go. My stepson was punched for repeatedly pushing another child's foot off of HIS desk. His teacher claims she was right there. If that was the case, why wasn't it stopped? We have been dealing with problems from students and staff from this school all year and will be taking legal action at this point.

My brothers son was assaulted yesterday. He has been harassed and bullied all school year. They have had to take him off of the bus and now take and pick him up. Now this kid has punched him and they are pretty much not doing anything about it. Our administrators in Norfolk City Public Schools are discriminating and playing favorites and it is not okay.

Seeing a big improvement in our granddaughters reading. The Teacher seems to really care about her and my granddaughter is getting excited about school and her Teacher. She has been putting extra time in with her after school going the extra mile.
