The sand on the roads shifts easily underfoot; so, while suitable for driving on, be cautious while walking. There's ample room for parking RVs or creating tent communities, and the loud section of the grounds has campers who enjoy singing and drinking past midnight. The county sheriff's department are good at patrolling so things don't get out of hand.

Its the entrance to the campgrounds of the best place in Texas. I love the camp ground. Only gave 4 star because it is very hard to see from normal traffic. New people will dibs this harder to find.

Awesome for the whole family.  The Airbnb in the Castle is wonderful.  I never slept so well

I really like the campgrounds here more than Texas Ren. Fair. Both are amazing experiences though, but Sherwood has better camp grounds.
