Sherwood Law Offices is comprised of attorneys, Michael J. Sherwood and Sarah J. Rhoades. Michael practices exclusively criminal defense and Sarah practices exclusively intellectual property law.

Sarah J. Rhoades is a registered patent attorney practicing in all aspects of intellectual property law from her office in downtown Missoula, Montana. Sarah was born and raised on the Dearborn and Missouri Rivers in north-central Montana. She attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana and the University of Montana in Missoula. Specifically, Sarah assists clients in securing and enforcing their intellectual property rights on national and international fronts. Sarah counsels clients on developing strategies for patent, copyright, trademark, trade dress, trade secret and related business matters. She also provides comprehensive contract preparation and negotiation services.

Michael J. Sherwood is a Missoula native who attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and the University of Montana School of Law. Michael has a AV+ peer rating and specializes in criminal defense. He is admitted to practice in Montana, the Federal Courts for the District of Montana, and the United States Supreme Court.
