It is always nice to go there. The staff has always been pleasant to family and I. The rooms are clean. They keep up the rooms and nothing is broken. I have to say that the elevator is weird and it is fun to watch the younger generation figure it out. My last visit was funny. The elevator can be slow, so it was unexpected that it was on the first floor and the door opened immediately, to find three girls on their phones just standing there. I think they thought they pressed the button for floor three and wasn't paying attention that they weren't moving. We had all had a good laugh. Nice kids. I like this hotel because it is close to home and we can have a nice staycation with a pool and breakfast.

Great service & friendly staff. The breakfast was awesome, they cooked the eggs exactly as I requested.

Seems like the hotel is making a effort to update it's facility to accommodate it's guests.

Scottie checked us in, and delivered the best customer care! The view of The Dalles Dam is pretty, and Shilo honors it's veterans. Good breakfast and non-smoking lounge to watch sports, shoot pool or gaze upon the beauty of the Columbia River and the Klickatats.
