Dr. Shirer and the excellent team at Shirer Family Dentistry take customer service to new heights. The environment is beautiful and welcoming and everyone there is so pleasant and highly skilled. Equipment is state-of-the-art, but do not fear, this does not translate to expensive or unnecessary procedures. Shirer Family Dentistry includes the patient in decision making and recommends minimally invasive treatment(s) as necessary. Selecting the Shirer family for my family's dental needs was a great choice. If you are seeking a new dentist in Aiken SC, I encourage you to consider Shirer Family Dentistry!

Shirer Family Dentistry is the absolute best dentistry overall. The office staff are extremely courteous and efficient; their welcoming attitudes and smiles create an atmosphere of trust for the patient. This makes for an excellent first impression. Shirer hygienists are super fabulous. My past experience with dental hygienists has been negative. Kristin, the young lady who cleaned and examined my teeth, didn't hurt me at all. She was most EXCELLENT! As a matter of fact I didn't feel a thing and when I saw how clean and beautiful my teeth were I asked Kristin if she could always be my dental hygienist; she said yes but she also said ALL of the hygienists were great at Shirer Family Dentistry. I, of course, made my 6 mo. appointment with Kristin. After my cleaning Dr. Susannah Shirer came in and examined my teeth. She was most thorough. Her explanation of the work I needed done was very clear. Dr. Susannah Shirer was so kind and truly put my mind at ease. The best thing about my visit was that I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. Shirer Family Dentistry is FABULOUSLY, WONDERFUL! ! !

I had a lovely experience at this office. I did not have to wait long at all, and they were very accommodating about finding a time to fit our family's scheduling needs. Everyone was kind, helpful and attentive, and even the dynamic between staff members was friendly and positive. I felt good as soon as I walked in the door, and that kind of immediate atmosphere means a lot. Dr. Schirer answered all of my questions, set a clear plan before me, and put me at ease (being an anxious person, that's saying something!). I felt respected as a person and cared for as a patient. We are very glad we decided to try their office!

Always such as pleasant and knowledgeable staff! I especially appreciated that they explained all options in detail and let me decide the coarse of action to take. Kristen did a fabulous job with my cleaning! And the front desk personnel does a great job coordinating with insurance. Thank you to the entire staff at Shirer Family Dentistry!

The year and a half that I've been a patient with Shirer Family Dentistry, I have only had great experiences! From my first cleaning with Megan to getting a cavity filled, each time in the chair was thorough, quick and painless. I have had work done by both Susannah and Michael and what stands out to me is their integrity, competence and knowledge. They and their staff are excellent at answering questions with clear explanations and offering options when applicable. I feel it's essential to have good dental work, this was illustrated with a crown I was having replaced. Apparently, it was slightly defective when it arrived from the lab. Tiffany was the technician who caught it and after multiple X-rays and a consult with Susannah, it was determined to not be good enough and sent back. The second one was perfect. I have had no trouble with any of the work done by any of their staff. It's always a fun, relaxed experience at their office, I highly recommend Shirer Family Dentistry!
