Zallie's has terrific food, very fresh local produce, and a wide array of other fruits and vegetables. It's unsurpassed in the area. One attraction is the seafood counter, which is many ticks above their competitors. The meats are high quality with enough prepared meats in the deli section which is often very busy. Reviews their catering services in the past and they are fantastic. I can highly recommend this ShopRite.

This ShopRite is oddly shaped and oddly organized. The layout constricts the flow of people and doesn't really allow for idle or new shoppers--you have to know what you want and where it is. The entrance is poorly designed, with a small entrance door and the carts being placed past it so you have to double back. The express lanes are crammed in next to where the employees clock out, so using them gets crowded. Cashiers don't always bag your items for you and though the store takes Rowan Bucks (flex dollars from the local Rowan University), there is a special reader--and only one of them--that can process them, so paying with them is a rather long-winded hassle. You'll /usually/ find what you need here, but it sure makes me miss my ShopRite at home.

Very clean and organized, friendly staff and plenty of tasty deli selections. Our family lives in Clayton near the Acme, but we drive 10 minutes out of our way to come to ShopRite. Zallie's are at the apogee of supermarkets. 😊

Child care while shopping. Clean bathrooms. Great customer service. Great sales and most items in stock.

This is the best ShopRite in my area. Always has what I'm looking for, well stocked, clean and very pleasant, helpful employees!!!
