It is sad that this place is in a good location but the service is very bad, specifically the recycling machines. The person who is responsible for the mashine is hiding all the time, not cleaning and bottles and garbage bags everywhere. Yesterday 9/7/2023 was a nightmare experience I saw the line for recycling so I went shopping inside the store thinking that I can recycle after but it wad still the same situation the machines are full and person is not here to take care of them. Then, by 9 pm, which is time for closing, he showed up. Here is the video to see what I'm talking about.
Why does this store open for customers to shop when half the store is empty ? And multiple aisles closed off ? Whats the point ? Its a waste of time coming here. This shoprite is terrible
This ShopRite is so ghetto and I don’t mean the people literally cashiers watch you bag and NEVER help you, even the elderly which actually infuriates me. Once I was on line and this old lady asked the cashier to help her and the cashier said “we don’t do that that’s not our job” to an elderly person. The woman was so confused and said they always used to help me, I chimed in and told her go to Trader Joe’s, they bag everything for you and it’s much more affordable. Back in the day ShopRite cashiers would bag with you. Go to Trader Joe’s y’all. Customer service is way better. Even stop & shop customer service is much better, I recently started shopping there and I love it. ShopRite customer service has declined so terribly over the years. Ghetto, I think people are still coming only for convenience because my family & I avoid it as much as possible but because it’s near our home, every once in a blue moon I show my face. And each time… the service is lacking. ALSO, the beauty of ShopRite back in the day was that it was a genuinely affordable place to shop… not anymore. Now it’s the same as all the other grocery stores. Hardly getting bang for your buck, ShopRite back in the day used to be the affordable place to shop. It’s the same as ACME & Stop & Shop now. So might as well go where the service is good.
This particular Shop Rite carries pan sobao! A friend told me about it and I made the trip specifically for this item, which I have not seen at other Shop Rites in Westchester. This pan sobao is shipped from Puerto Rico. I wouldn't recommend going on the weekend if you can avoid it. The supermarket and parking lot were completely full.
I was so disappointed in a cupcake order I picked up on Friday 12/22. I ordered pink and white cupcakes to be placed in the design of a 2 and a 5. I received cupcakes in a slathered in a red frosting pasting them all together. Yes, they were in a 2 and a 5, but I didn't want pull aparts... then they were nasty as hell. Way too much dye, to the point they were not edible. $60 wasted. So not only did they look terrible in the pictures, but they tasted terrible. Left a nasty taste in everyone's mouth. I have almost the whole #2 left. I will never use ShopRites Bakery again. I'm so disappointed.
Title: Wedding Party Disaster I had the unfortunate experience of ordering Philly Cheesesteak sliders from this store for a wedding party, and the outcome was nothing short of a disaster. Instead of enjoying a delicious meal, we were left disappointed and frustrated. What we were served were sliders that bore no resemblance to actual sliders. To this day, I remain clueless about what ingredients they used, but these were utterly inedible, and no one at the event could stomach them. The real disappointment, however, was the complete lack of customer service. After numerous attempts to contact the store to resolve the issue, I was met with silence. It's incredibly frustrating to be ignored and ghosted when you're seeking a simple resolution. I strongly advise anyone considering ordering from this store to save their money and go elsewhere. The lack of quality in both the food and customer service is simply not worth it. This experience left a sour taste in our mouths, and I hope sharing this feedback will prevent others from making the same mistake.
Very small selection of fish a lot of farmed raised fish. I find that some of their shelves are not fully stocked at 8am. There’s a lot of items I can’t find to there.
Customer service is horrible. Will never shop. There again Manager needs to learn to how to handle situations then hide in office thinking things will go away. Personal in green shirts should be retrained when checking money SmFh
deli counter was rude, old guy working behind it was on a power trip. never enough registers open, produce is rarely fresh, the only sales are ever on frozen foods.
Trashy store. Always long lines. NEW: they added self checkout. Makes going in and out easier. But still a trashy store. very cheesy annoying announcements every 5 min.
