My boyfriend and I lived here for a year in which time we found that Shoreview Grand had both pros and cons. There was a guy who lived across the parking lot from us in the townhomes, and he would always be drunk and beating up his girlfriend. The cops were there what seemed every week and he would constantly try to harass me when I was outside which made living there hell. I understand this is out of the office's control but he was one on the reasons I moved. The grounds were always kept in great condition. The apartments themselves were decent since they had awesome dark hard wood floors and lots of extra cabinet space, but the rest of the apartment was like any other apartment. These apartments are overpriced for what you get! We had an updated one bedroom which was 750sqft and paid about 1055.00 a month (this included a dog and a cat). Office staff is really nice. They always seem to be in the apartment for something or doing loud projects which was irritating. Aside from the angry drunk guy living in the town homes it was a great place to live. Very quiet otherwise.

8-1-2017  Updated! We love living here! We feel very lucky to have chosen Shoreview Grand as our new home. The people really care here. The people and dogs in our building are very friendly ~ it is a secure and smoke-free building and I feel very safe. The outdoor pool is heated! We have "The Fence" a small Dog Park for people to bring the dogs to play off-leash. I love hearing the birds, geese, and crickets in the nearby pond. All of the office staff are helpful ~ our building manager, Office Managers are great~our maintenance men. This was a huge decision for us to 'downsize' to an apartment and we are so glad we moved here.

I have lived here with my husband for 4 years, and I have never had a more professional renting experience. The staff are always extremely helpful, the amenities are top notch and everything is brand new and updated. Any maintenance issues we've had, any inspections, etc. were always completed in a timely manner and with superb professionalism. The pool is always clean, the garage is always tidy and any notices that are sent out for anything (like plowing the parking lot, fixing wiring, etc.) are done so well ahead of time. From the little dog park they put in, to the exercise rooms, Shoreview Grand is constantly updating everything to suit the tenants' needs. The staff, especially Lynnea, are so friendly and make you truly feel like a family. Lynnea always helps with anything you need, has the answers to any questions and even though it's a large company complex, she makes it feel like it's a tight knit community. If you're wondering if this place might be for you, it's worth it! I don't work here, so don't think the review is based on that. My husband and I are simply extremely pleased with our living experience here and we're sad to go!

Shoreview Grand is a very nice and quiet place to live at. I've been living here for a month and it has exceeded my expectations. The neighbors are always quite and you can't really hear anyone talk. EVeryone seem to take care after themselves pretty well also. 
The place is also trying to change the whole area to no smokers too which is nice for everyone. Smokers has their own designated area to smoke at. Dogs also have area where the can go do their businesses too. 
Incase you're wondering about taking your dog out at night, don't worry. There are a lot of lights! I feel totally safe when I take my dog out 1am in the morning. 
Things that I dislike about this place is that the garage opener seems to be broken all the time. I'll have to get out of my car to open the garage lol. Also dislike how low the toilet seat is. Also in the weightlift area, there is no bench and barbell. Only dumbbells. 
Price is also a little too expensive for what we get. Should lower to about 950.   Other then those, there is nothing to really bad about the place. The place doesn't really smell. The building I live in is 505 and it seems to smell more neutral. I know that in other buildings, it smells like onions or curry in the halls. Oh, and laundry cost about 1.90 to wash and same to dry. Cost can go up or down depending on size of load.

I lived at Shoreview Grand for a year, and I was very happy with my stay. Management (Lynnea, Lexie, and Rahza)) were all very personable and professional, and made me feel welcome and at home in the community. 
I did not have any need for maintenance during my stay, and my building was always very clean and quiet. My unit was clean and newly remodeled when I moved in. No complaints here!
