Shot In The Dark has a certain, laid-back, grungy vibe that some people might not like or may be offended by, so it's not for everyone. Overall, the food is pretty good, and so is the coffee and tea. This is not a Starbucks. This is  not a "normal" coffee, shop; it has personality and attracts a certain crowd. This place feels like a combination of a punk venue and an old taco shop, and coffee shop all in one, so take it with a grain of salt, okay? If you don't like the crowd it attracts and the style it has, then don't go here, there are many other coffee places, trust me.

Open 24/7. Owned and operated by the workers. Good coffee and surprisingly good food. Usually quiet. A bit offbeat. Only downside for some might be the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke coming from the attached indoor/outdoor smoking area.

I've only been in Tucson for about two weeks and have already been to this place about a dozen times. Reminds me of the coffee joints I spent countless hours in back in the early 90s. 

The food is great (thanks to Sam for the wicked burrito!  That was impressive.) and the coffee is strong enough to keep me biking for the day. 

Added bonus is the smoking patio. Love being able to smoke and have a cup of joe and not get the stink eye from people. 

Kick ass place. Oh yeah and the staff are nice too, if you don't act like a dick.

Great coffee shop and WiFi spot. They just need to get a decent AC system. Monsoons drop that humidity and it's a challenge to stay inside without sweating buckets.
