My kids love this park best of all the local parks. The super long slide, Zipline-type swing, jungle gym and weird spinning chair are their favorites. I like that it has multiple playsets for varying ages.
A clean cute park, with a little woodsy outlook for kids too. Good pokestops. The fence around the park is nice as well, since the main section is geared more towards younger kids. There's also another section for older kids too. I also like the swings that let both the parent and the child sit face to face! Dog-friendliness: I would not say this this park has a dog friendly space.
The slide. My kids didn't want to come to this park on our day trip to Dayton. They were tired but then we got out and I had to convince them to leave 30 minutes later. My 3,6, & 9 yr olds all had fun here. There were a few pieces of wax paper and that made going down the slide better. Bring your own to insure you have some.
Great park, lots to do..what's not to love??? We visit here often and the kids love it!! So many different playground toys, benches & picnic tables. They also have a shelter house but lack restroom facilities, with nothing more than a port a potty. In addition to everything I'vee already listed, they have a sand box area for the children to play in. Great Park..kid tested, mom approved
Nice, hidden away park for families with kid, with large playground areas. Actually has lot more picnic tables than you think - under the one pavilion and under permanent umbrellas. Took away one star for small size and only one available portapotty.
The kids love the big slide and all the other stuff. There is adequate places for adults to sit and plenty of shade.
Shoup park has the best slide around
Great park with multiple play areas. The large slide on the hill was awesome. The grandkids love it! Lots of picnic tables too for us hungry folk.

Great park always packed with families. Equipment is in great shape, lots of different types for different age groups.
