We live in the area and have been coming by boat to Shuckers for years now. Not only has it been convenient for us but the views are great. Lately we have been extremely disappointed with the customer service- to the level where we have been taking our visiting family members or other guests to other restaurants on the water. We appreciate the fact that it is casual- but that doesn’t mean that the service should fall far below the wayside. There are certain hostesses and management that are consistently rude and unfriendly. They don’t seem to enjoy working there and have an unpleasant demeanor. Often times they congregate in small groups while standing around and not doing much of anything.  Since we frequent Shuckers, we know each of their names, and try to avoid the ones that have this attitude. There was a time where we used to pull up by boat and a manager would even come out to greet us and ask if we would need any help- I thought it was such a nice gesture and touch! Boating is our way of relaxing after a long work week, enjoying the sun, and truly just having a great time. Shuckers used to play into that as being a happy atmosphere with a down to earth neighborhood vibe. I thank the owner as I see that you’re responsive to each of these comments and I hope you take this feedback into consideration. My suggestion and hope is there will be more training and you seriously consider moving on from the managers and hostesses that aren’t living up to the professional and friendly standards that I’m sure you’ve set for your restaurant.

What a beautiful nice little spot that actually has free and plenty of parking available outside! The entrance is a little bit weird and sketchy, but once you follow the signs and get inside it's breathtaking views of the water.  The service here is incredibly awesome and super attentive to all customers! Anything we needed they were right on it and available at all times! Happy hour specials are on weekdays from 5-7 PM! 
As for food I got to try out the calamari, and fish dip which are solid choices for food to order to pick at! If you're looking for an entree to order I would highly recommend the special grilled wings with buffalo sauce! You know you have to go with these wings when it says in the menu that they're considered legendary for 25+ years! 
This is a great spot to come out on weekends too! I got to catch some of the football games on the numerous TVs they have located throughout the bar & grill and it was perfect! (They do have audio too!) 
I can also definitely see this nice spot as a place to grab a bite with someone or a date as well  and enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating right on the water.  
Overall I can't believe I haven't been to Shuckers before! I've definitely been missing out! I know one thing for sure is that I'll be back soon!

We went on a Saturday night, to my surprise it wasn't very busy. 
We shared a shrimp po' boy sandwich and oysters. All were good.
Better to visit during the day for the view. Although the night lights of the city was nice.
I gave it 3 stars because the service could have been better.

Awesome grilled wings! Beer and specially cocktail selections are great and happy hour here can't be beat! Received awesome service from Jen, professional, friendly and all around a great server! Can't wait to come back. Thanks Jen.

Amazing place. It's right on the water and the prices are pretty good considering how good the food is and location. I recommend Shanique because she was engaging and worked very quickly. We never once had to wave her down to order or to get help. Stop on by.
