We are a year around fishing guide service that was founded 18 seasons ago by U.S.C.G. Captain Tom Loe. Our pros cover all the waters of the Eastern High Sierra as well as Eagle Lake & Lake Almanor. We offer Drift boat adventures on the Lower Owens River near Bishop CA. and have a fleet of 24 foot custom flats boats that can accomodate large corporate, family, or party groups on Crowley Lake, Bridgeport Reservoir, and Eagle Lake. We also provide guiding on National Forest lands like Hot Creek and the San Joaquin River. Wade trips on the East Walker River, Upper Owens River, float tubing on alpine lakes and exclusive private access to the Adobe Pond for wild brown trout from our drift boats. We offer affordable fly fishing classes during the summer months. Sierra Drifters HQ is located on McGee Creek over looking Crowley Lake and owns a large private trophy pond/park teaming with rainbows to twenty pounds and available for bookings. We welcome all levels of experience from first time novices & children to expert. Specialized programs for handicapped and older fishers are available upon request. Our contracted guides are individually licensed, liability insured & bonded, NFS permitted , and own/operate the equipment they guide on. Sierra Drifters is the longest running group of guides in the region and Tom Loe has logged over four thousand guided trips since 1997.
