My girlfriend and I ate dinner here after a long day of white water rafting and hiking, just wanting something warm to eat. Boy were we surprised! I had a burger melt and she had the fish dinner and it was truly fantastic. Their fries are battered and they offered a salad bar complete with 2 soup options. We both agreed that we would take the trip from Rochester just to go back.

When I go to the Sierra it's like I'm reliving all of the great family memories I have. The new owner and staff is a great change from the old and the food is still on par!!

So I just left. After a pile of dirty dishes got stick in my face when I turned around to chat. Mentioned it to the waitress and she was all apologies, nice lady. Yet the dishes remained. I said something to the bartender, HE (weird boytenders are not my style) said "all set?" I said that pile if dishes and trash are not mine! He said ok! And finally took it away. Then the owner came by and asked how everything was..I Todd him about the dishes,he said 'sorry you feel that way mam" and gave me his back.  Typical trash for around this area. Go to Dansville or Hornell proper for people who understand hospitality and social skills.

Pasta night. All you can eat pasta  (was just ok) , no bread or salad offered.
