I judge a Doctor by HIS work, not some office receptionist. I was always accommodated when ever I called . I'm thinking of some shoulder surgery so I am looking for Dr Ericson's results. The rest is just bitching.

My husband has had rotator cuff surgery, knee maintenance and currently had carpal tunnel performed by Dr. Erickson and his staff. It has always been a very professional experience and my husband refuses to go anywhere else. He is currently in the VA Choice program and has never had a problem getting treatment.

superior surgeons and PAs. But office staff is sub-par.  after all these years, I still can't tell if it is lack of training office staff or just excessively understaffed for their volume. You are extremely lucky to get them to answer phone and then they dump you on hold until you hangup from waiting or they eventually get to you 15 minutes later.  They do not respond to any faxes, not from patients, not from pharmacy, they always claim they never got anything, funny how senders have fax confirmation but this office has always claimed they never got any fax. They process slooowly, insurance authorizations takes them 2-4 weeks before they even start trying to contact insurance company, and prescription refill requests usually take 5 days before the pharmacy gets the order. 
Regardless, I still highly recommend Doctors and PAs as how they care for the patient outweighs how the office staff doesn't

I like the staff. They are all very friendly and I have worked for C.G. Regional Medical Center in the 90s for six years. Dr. Erickson is a wonderful surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who needed surgery.

This Doctors office does not accept Tricare Prime. They also have a monopoly when it comes to needing a cast done. My 5 year old son had to wait 8 days and go down to Tucson, because we have military insurance. They claim that tricare does not pay the full amount of the bill, or they take to long. My husband was injured in the Navy and now he is a disabled vet. He gave his life to protect the freedom of the American people. Is that not payment enough? I'm sure theses doctors will be fine in their mid-priced Mercedes instead of the deluxe model. 
To not accept the insurance of the men and women who sacrifice everything for our freedom and rights is the most un-American act I can think of.
