This is such a clean cozy motel. We have stayed here before & really enjoy it. The owners are very nice & accomodating.

Very clean,  reasonably priced.  It's the best place to stay if you want to be close to Steptoe Butte. The owner was pleasantly helpful. There was traffic noise, you are right off the highway, but you quickly get adjusted to it. Bring ear plugs if you need them. If you are on the Palouse Scenic byway, you will be spending most of the time on the road shooting incredible photos. So why spend big bucks on a hotel room, stay here and spend more on new gear.  I want to go back. Oh and don't forget to walk the full length of the downtown.  Day or night it's a safe and relaxing stroll.

Great location to photograph the Palouse area.  Use this hotel as a base camp.  Very clean and resonable.

I stayed here for a few days in May 2016. The owners are great folks, and work hard to provide a simple accommodation for those needing budget rooms. In fact, I found them to be very helpful at all times.

Mini fridge, comfortable beds and friendly service.

If you are a casual visitor without high end hotel needs, you'll find The Siesta to be just right as we did.

I'd stay there again when next in the region, especially because I like the owners I met and want to support their business.

Comfortable. Clean. Inexpensive. Nothing fancy here but it serves the purpose for a decent nights sleep.
