Do NOT rent here!! Nightmare**  Signed lease in March, 2018 (this month!). Flea infestation. Wrote letters, emails, calls, vms. No contact, Ghost. I am extremely allergic. I have scars all over my legs and feet. Sight Real Estate treatened if I leave they will charge an additional $1800 on top of the $1800 already paid to move in. Not willing to address the situation in a professional way or show compassion what-so-ever towards my allergic reaction. Unhealthy unsanitary living condition.  Garbage is pushed up very close to our unit. Wild animals looking for food might attract fleas, right? Will not move garbage. Less then 10 ft from the building-11garbage cans remain because they will not work to make the situation better for its tenants. We also replaced some items that were damaged/broken. Ex: garbage disposal, shower rack, bulbs. They actually had the nerve to question my character for the entire sitiution! We don't even have pets. We are your customers,  this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! My home has zero insulation, a mold issue, and my ac unit has been broken since I moved in. Brad has been promising my roommates and I that things will be done, and we have only gotten empty promises. 
I am currently not able to stay in my own home due to a severe mold allergy.
Our electric bill was nearly 400$ two months in a row due to air conditioning malfunction which TECO said was 100% fault of the housing structure (I have documents also shared with sight reality).
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

Do not give these people your money. We put down a 5% deposit in March 2017 for a townhouse development they were supposedly building. We were told the property would be built by around Jan/Feb 2018. For the whole time we were waiting, they told us that permit delays were holding up the beginning of construction. Around Sep 2017, Evanlee (contact for the property) stopped returning any of our emails. Come Oct, still not receiving any responses, our realtor found out their funding had fallen through so that was the real issue. We never received any explanation or response from Sight Real Estate, our agent had to follow up with Evanlee multiple times before they finally sent us a cancellation letter, still no explanation or apology. After nine months of them holding on to our money, with nothing to show for the wait, we're getting our money back and moving on from this terrible experience. This company is not fit for business, do not trust them with your money.

You know, I really wish I had read the prior Google reviews on this company before getting into business with them. The fact that I am seeing these poor ratings for the first time CERTAINLY validates my thoughts about Sight Real Estate.

My boyfriend and I put a deposit on a townhouse unit that was going to be constructed and completed this year. Submitted the deposit in February, with expected construction start date in April. After a revision of the floor plan, of course that pushed back construction. Ultimately, it is now almost November and the project was cancelled due to the developer's rejected financing. THIS is *NOT* the issue I am referring to. THE ISSUE LIES WITH THE ENTIRE TEAM OF SIGHT REAL ESTATE. Evanlee, Michael, and Thomas.

Now, had this review been written prior to April of 2017, I would have given them ALL, especially Evanlee, rave reviews for their level of service they provided as a team. She was our main point of contact for ANY questions we had relating to the project, and she was phenomenal about responding! Text, call, email...she was prompt and friendly.

THEN SHE MADE A COMPLETE 180. I was initially led to expect one level of service from Sight, but basically after they secured our "Earnest Deposit", they do NOT give a DAMN about you.

MONTHS of NO response, NO replies to texts, emails OR calls. It's like she dropped off the face of the planet. WHERE DID THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GO? WHERE DID THE COMMUNICATION GO? I was even promised once via email by the PRESIDENT of Sight, Michael Mincberg, that he "will make sure to be in better communication going forward."  The next time we tried to reach out, it was FOUR DAYS before we received ACKNOWLEDGEMENT in any way, and his reply was SHORT and SMUG.  I'm not even sure how they run a business with the way they handle communication to customers.

WHERE IS THE PROFESSIONALISM???

If they hadn't gone "ghost" on us, this review wouldn't have been written. If they were timely with responses, EVEN IF THERE WAS NO NEWS TO REPORT, it would've been a completely different story here. If THEY took initiative to reach out to THE CUSTOMER before THE CUSTOMER worried, it would've been a completely different story here.

I was so close to securing an attorney with these people, fearing that we were being scammed. To reiterate, they will be AWESOME at responding to you BEFORE THEY RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT!! Once they've got your money, who cares right?? I've WASTED the last NINE months with my hopes invested in this company and their team. I WILL NEVER, EVER, attempt to buy a home through them again and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Extremely frustrating to deal with this phony group of so-called "professionals" who IGNORE your calls/emails and give you nothing but the runaround. It was a blessing in disguise that this project fell through, because if I ever saw any of them in person I would not be able to stop myself from ripping them all a new one.

Save yourself a LOT of heartache, please. Don't make the same mistake we did.

Pease read reviews before renting in Florida!!!
ZERO stars for #sightrealestate

A standard practice that I have personally experienced in Florida is that shady landlords will send you a certified letter after you vacate a property you rented and cleaned.

The  certified letter will dispute returning  your full deposit claiming damages were not normal wear and tear and even claim bogus charges for repairs with  exorbitant fees.

The Florida Consumer Affairs investigates these shady landlords but can't do anything about it if the Landlord sends a certified letter within the time frame of the statute.

Your only option is to post on social media (see YELP reviews as well) and sue the landlord in small claims court.

Shady Florida landlords make this a standard practice because most tenants don't sue to get back their security deposits, which are rightfully theirs.
Unfortunately for Sight Real Estate,  I hired an attorney and have pictures documenting every room I cleaned, receipts and a detailed file on this property.
