Welcome to the home page for the Sikh Society of Minnesota, Gurdwara Sahib.
The Gurdwara (meaning the House of God) is the Sikh place of worship. It is both a spiritual place of worship and a cultural learning center for the young and old. At present it is the only Gurdwara in twin cities.
The Gurdwara is open everyday to everyone. Sikhism believes in equality, during the service everyone sit down together on the carpeted floor in the Diwan hall. When coming to the Gurdwara, please bear this in mind everyone is required to take off their shoes before entering in to the Diwan Hall and keep their heads covered at all times inside the Gurdwara. We've listed these rules along with more information about the Gurdwara.
