I've been coming to this shop for nearly 20 years. Dave is a fair, friendly, and knowledgeable man who helps kids and regular customers with the hobby of coin collecting as well as provides honest service to new customers and with non-coin related transactions. He's easy to talk with and will really try to help you out. If you show respect you will be shown respect. The shop is clean and organized. I would recommend this business to anyone in the area with numismatic or other related needs.

I have found my new favorite place to buy my silver bullion and coins!! I was ordering off line and did not like the 2 week wait for my silver, so I looked around and Silver Spring Coin and Gem is the best for a local experience. Dave is very Professional, Knowledgeable and has gone out of his way to help me including stocking the specific silver bars I collect. Even if coins and Gems are not your thing it is cool to see the history, cool art and artifacts laying about the shop. If I could give more then 5 stars I would will be shopping here as long as I live here!!

Very professional, respectful, and very helpful.  Other local jewelers were not helpful, welcoming, or professional.  Very nice experience, Silver Spring will be my go-to place for buying or selling, appraisals, and as other reviewers have mentioned some very cool stuff to look at while in the shop.
