Very dirty. I don't understand how the city inspectors haven't closed this place down. I have bought milk only to find out it was outdated and sour. Meats with green tint & expired dates on MANY items. I brought the fact that egg salad was out dates and worker took into back and changed date and put item back in dairy rack to resell. They do give refund if they know you and owner are very pleasant & friendly.

Family owned with everything you expect in a food store that also has some of the best homemade salads (macaroni, potatoes, chicken, ECT.) In a Convenient center city location.

Friendly staff that always greet you with a smile. For such a small store, they do have quite a bit of needed staple items.

If you're new to the place they watch you. The food they prepare themselves has been rotten.. My thought is because they use the expired items. I come to that conclusion due to the fact they'll get away with selling outdated items due to personal experience. Also, I asked for the price of an item before purchase since it didn't have a price on it and I paid the amount I was told but after purchasing it the lady comes to tell me she told me it was less and I owed her the rest, I told her I already bought it and she says yes but it's not the price and because I said again I already purchased it she tells me I wasn't right, I told her how am I not right when I bought it for the price you told me..  Mind the fact I've been going to that store a few times a week for several months at that point.    ..    The regular cashier is friendly.  Prices are alright on sale.

I live near by and come here often whether it's for odds & ends or to prepare an entire meal. The owners and staff are always friendly.
