Maggie has been doing my nails, pedicure and hair for over two years, coming up to three.  She does a fantastic job and I have never been disappointed.  Because I am there every two weeks, I have a feel for the salon and the staff.  Everyone is friendly and courteous.  I don’t usually respond on social media, but felt I had to this time because Maggi is awesome and there is something wrong with the people who wrote the reviews.  Please don’t let them keep you away.

I went to Simplicity Salon and Day Spa on 04/20/18. I’ve gotten my nails done many times at other places but have never had a bad experience until I went here. I got a manicure and pedicure by Maggie. When I got in the car after my service, I saw that my toenails were unfiled and the polish was clumpy. My fingernails were not trimmed, my cuticles were ripped and uneven, the layers of the polish were visible and not completely coated. The person I was with called the salon to ask to speak to the manager/ get a refund for my $70 nails that looked like a four year old did them. The salon said “Come back tomorrow morning around 11:30 am to get them redone”, of course I didn’t trust them with my nails again so I said no. Today my aunt and I went in to talk to them. The receptionist, owner and manicurist were very rude to my aunt and I and someone who I had never seen (a worker) said that I was joking around and being kind to the person who did my nails. The lady was not in the room when I got my nails done and I also had a sore throat this day, I remember only saying a few words to my manicurist. Also, I am always kind to people who do services for me. The people who we were talking to lied, saying that they told us to come in immediately, also making up lies about how I was acting (nice and joking around) and saying they have never had a complaint about Maggie when I’ve seen plenty online. Do not come here.

I have been going to Robin at the salon for several years.  She does my hair perfectly and I have recommended her to many people.  The staff is great, you're always greeted warmly and promptly, and they give a discount for cash.  I get a shampoo, cut, and blow dry.  I haven't yet tried their other services.  Highly recommend Robin!

I can't say enough about Simplicity Salon & Day Spa.
The friendly,and knowledgeable staff make for a wonderful relaxing experience.The overall care and devotion shown to the customer is quite refreshing . My husband and I have been customers for several years, and we wouldn't go any where else.

Bad experience here!!!  My neice visiting from NH had mani/pedi on 04/20. An introverted 14 year old who said nothing until we got on car about not being at all happy with her experience. I called immediately and was told by receptionist "have her come back in" I rescheduled for 11:30 a.m. on the following day 04/21.  I looked at her feet and hands and took photos because even I thought it was a shoddy job. My neice said she didn't want to go "back there". I call 04/21 to explain 
 the receptionist and asked to just be refund her (as she had used her own money). Refunds only handled by owner or manager who won't be in until Wednesday 04/25. I said I would return with neice then. I was later called and told come in 04/24. I just left the salon!! We were met by owner, receptionist, and a manicurist ... not the one who did the poor quality job. My neice was BULLIED by all three. My neice thought she was prepared to explain her displeasure. But the three of them were all over her. WHY DIDN'T SHE SPEAK UP B4 SHE LEFT SALON? WHY DIDN'T SHE RETURN TO GET THEM DONE BY ANOTHER MANICURIST? A SERVICE WAS PEFORMED, NEVER HAD PROBLEMS LIKE THIS BEFORE. MAYBE SHE SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO GET MANI/PEDI UNTIL SHE CAN SPEAK UP !!!"
That last quote was the owner ...  who also said "under no circumstances would my neice get a refund!!" Also interesting all three women contradicted my neice at every turn about what she said they said. ALL THREE SHOULD ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES !!!!   Receptionist Melissa, Manicurist Jamie, and the owner whose name escapes me but I'll get and post again ....
