Story

Simply Jane is an Open Paint Studio where "Everyone is a Fabulous Artist!" We are Simply Jane & ArtAble a 501c3 non profit where we use the Simply Jane product for teaching painting techniques. The studio is completely wheel chair accessible. We offer drop-in painting, summer camps, release day camps, saturday classes and parties for all ages and abilities in a variety of artistic mediums. We also offer field trips and events for group homes, adults and children with disabilities. All classes are inclusive of all abilities.

When you step into this place, you are stepping into the creators imagination, and let me tell you, it is amazing! This is one of the most unique and heart-warming non-profits I have ever discovered. They do birthday parties as well as art therapy, and I think visit nursing homes and hospitals if I remember correctly. You don't have to be seasoned in your artistic abilities to enjoy yourself here. There are plenty of options for things to paint from canvases to small furniture. However all the painting objects sold here come with a prepainted design, similar to a coloring book page. Then it is up to you to how you wish to customize it. This is definitely a place I would recommend for small birthday parties, or bringing a friend or two for a place to get creative.

I've been meaning to post a review for Simply Jane Studio for some time now and finally took the time to just do it! I was surprised to see a poor review in the sea of great reviews. I am always so impressed with the studio and staff. I've had Jane help me out many times and she is always very joyful, professional and fun to paint with! I love painting the Masters artwork. What I'm especially thankful for is the way that they reach out to the adults and children with disabilities as a non-profit organization and also employ special needs staff. Your contribution to the community is amazing and I thank you for everything you do! I especially enjoy the method you use to teach that works for everyone from the inexperienced to the experienced, for younger and older students and encompasses the special needs community as well. Kudos to you and keep up the great work!!

Came here with my niece and nephews, we were looking for something new and exciting. We walked in, not greeted at all. Lost and unsure about what to do, as we've never been here before. Jane finally came up and asked if we've been here before, I told her no. She told us to look around and find the piece we'd like to work on. We found what we wanted, and just stood there. Jane disappeared, no idea what to do next. Finally, one of the employees came up to us and sat us down at a table. Jane comes up with painting t-shirts and she just throws them at each kid and walked away. I found that VERY disrespectful. She was lucky I didn't want to create a scene in front of the kids. There is absolutely no reason for her to throw shirts at children when she could simply hand them to each kid. I would have left, but I promised an outing for the kids. It was very shocking to receive this treatment from the owner herself. As for the other employees, they were very polite. I don't see myself coming here again. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I LOVE this place! I take my kids there on school release days, (and for summer camps). The space is both energizing and relaxing; I generally never want to leave.
