What a charming spot! We stopped in for drinks just before closing, so I can't speak for the food except to say it sounded very good. The drinks were great and the staff was very friendly.

The food here is really good. My group ordered the cheese plate, fried green tomatoes, the shrimp and grits, the fish, the burger, the pork and beans, the ribeye and I had the tenderloin. Loved the tomatoes with the blue cheese sauce, and the pickled peppers with them were very good. I tried the grits and thought they were excellent, though I do not care for shrimp. I also tried the pork, and it was very, very good. When I ordered the tenderloin I asked for it to be cooked medium and it came out rare. I take responsibility for not sending it back when I should have. Here I am two days later still feeling sick from what I assume must be food poisoning from eating under-cooked meat. But like I said, my fault for not correcting when I saw that it was not cooked to the medium I asked for. The potatoes were great, the red pepper sauce was great, even the tenderloin it self, tasted amazing going in. Other than the amazing food and unfortunate sickness, I feel I also have to mention that the service was not on par with other dining experiences I have had at similar establishments in bigger cities. No one was rude or unfriendly but things did move very slow and the table we were sat at didn't have enough settings for our party and no one on staff seemed to notice (we ended up taking a setting from another table ourselves after failing to get anyone's attention. My reservation called for a high chair that was also not placed until I asked for it. The wait for dessert was a little long.

Oh my goodness was our meal good! We had a wedge salad, the ribeye and the nights special, vegetable pot pie. Lets just say there was nothing left on our plates! The staff was attentive and friendly, restaurant was beautiful and clean, and the general manager was very sweet and genuine. We will definitely be back!

Excellent experience. The staff and particularly the new manager were very professional and personable. The food was all delicious. We had the quail legs, wedge salad, a tenderloin, and a rib eye. We topped it all off with the jalapeño cheesecake which was glorious. Highly recommended!!

Great wait staff and food. Had excellent gulf shrimp and grits. The pork chop was done to perfection. The blueberry cobbler was heaven. We will be back for sure. I gave the restaurant 5 stars for decor, wait staff and food. A real gem in fine dinning here in Clifton.
