We had nothing but GRIEF and AGONY dealing with Singh construction in Billings, Montana. On their website they state “We believe in hiring the most skilled & experienced staff that we can find. We value professionalism because we know that’s what customers expect.” WHAT A BUNCH OF BALONEY! In August 2017 we signed for work to be done with this company, the work did not begin until the middle of October when early September was promised by the salesman (who no longer works there) even though the materials arrived September 11, 2017. When the roofers finally came to do the work, they were unprepared (they didn’t even have all the needed tools). They began tearing the old roof off in various spots, left for the day and did not return until 2 days later. We had problems with damage and poor workmanship to our home from the start. When the first set of sub-sub roofers were sent home because of damage, the second set of sub-roofers came and finished the job within an timely manner; but they also made some damages and left a huge mess of nails and debris that my mother had to spend days cleaning up. Two months later, the roof began leaking and MORE damage. When Harvey Singh was again contacted he came and made promises to my mother for compensation. He later went back on that promise, called my mother a liar and verbally abused her and screamed at her over the phone, making threats of a home seizure. No compensation was honored, even though their financial compensation was taken care of immediately. He then sent someone different to enforce his directives. In this whole process, most of the employees who used to work for Singh (that we dealt with) are no longer there- Because Harvey Singh is difficult to work for the unprofessional. We still have damages and items to fix or paint this next summer and I still don’t believe Harvey Singh will honor any “guarantee.” Don’t hire this company to do ANY work on your home.

It just doesnt get any better than Singh Contracting. From the initial phone call, the completion of the roof...in one day!...and the follow up to make sure we were satisfied, this company and crew were nothing but friendly, efficient and professional. So much so we immediately hired them to replace another roof for us!

As a contractor in the city of billings from 2006-2014 and since having moved to Kalispell, I have seen and witnessed amazing things by this company and Harvey, while it may seem odd to give a great review on a competitor's business, I can honestly say I have seen nothing but great work and responsibility from these men and the crews. I would gladly and highly recommend them to anyone!! A++++ QTC

I had a horrible experience with Singh Contracting! I signed a contract with Jesse Singh in July. He neglected to show me the back of the contract with all the fine print, but that was just the start. They replaced my roof, and Jesse called me two days afterwards to tell me what I owed and wanted to pick up a check right away. I told him that I wanted to see an invoice and also inquired about a warranty. He got angry with me and told me right away that he would turn me over to collection. When I understood the amount of the bill and he produced an invoice, I took a check to his office right away. I had the roof inspected by another roofer and he said that one corner of the roof was not nailed down correctly and would allow moisture to seep in and do damage. Also, two independent contractors agreed that the shed was not roofed properly. I asked Jesse to come and fix the corner four times, without success. I still owed Singh some money and was more than willing to pay it after the issue with the roof was taken care of. In my view, the final payment is not due until a job is done to the customer's satisfaction. Singh finally came and fixed the corner of the roof, and I was ready to send them a check. Jesse Singh would not have any of that and demanded a check delivered right away. He threatened to put a lien on the property and also charge me for attorney's fees and filing fees. During the whole process I was bullied and threatened. I have lived in Billings for 40 years, and was in business for 17 years. I always pay my bills in a very timely fashion and don't post negative reviews. I have never been treated this rudely in my whole life. I would stay away from this company!! Bea Dana
