My favorite sushi place in Oregon. The Miso salmon is out of this world

Sushi and main dish were good, everything else not so good. Nigiri sushi tasted fresh with descent size servings, a little pricey, but to be expected in Bridgeport. Rolls were good, but special roles were smaller than those at other sushi places I frequent. The only thing we didn't care for was that they brought everyone's sushi on one plate, and had a lot of difficult distinguishing between the spicy salmon and spicy tuna roles due to color and consistency being the same. My wife had the Teriyaki chicken which she said was good, but she also likes all her meat well done. So I can't really vouch for how tender it was.

Negatives: Service slow, both kitchen and wait staff. Edamame didn't look fresh, looked microwaved and a little over done. Miso soup was lukewarm. Cucumber salad had little to no dressing on it. Calamari appeared to be pre-packed type with thick, crunchy breading...like pre-packaged onion rings...and ours came very overcooked, a few pieces that had shed their breading were shriveled, dry and super chewy. Couldn't really tell there was any meat in the breaded ones. Waitress indicated she and the cook knew it was overcooked, but it served it to us any way. If the staff doesn't know enough not to send bad or poorly cooked food to the table, it tells me there's a management problem regarding quality and care. Needless to say we sent the calamari back and it was taken off bill. 

I wouldn't recommend this place until they raise their game significantly.

In the center of Bridgeport Village, great location and the atmosphere inside is unreal! (Same interior designer as Departure and more) Try the luxury shrimp! Or any roll! You might see the Blazers or Timbers players here too.

Lunch menu and dinner menu is different. I prefer lunch menu.
